KIWI at Vapexpo 2022 in Madrid

After a long series of unforgettable experiences where we had the chance to get in touch with vapers from all over the world, concluded upon the attendance at the Vaper Expo UK in Birmingham (27th-29th), KIWI is ready to recharge its batteries before the next challenge: Vapexpo Spain 2022, here we come!

The prestigious vaping tradeshow, which is ready to celebrate its fourth edition in fool scope, will be held in Madrid. Thanks to a tradition of well-organized events, with quality products and must have brands always at the center of attention, Vapexpo Spain is one of the most appreciated platforms by the emerging European vaping industry and its players. For these reasons, KIWI decided to participate in the next Vapexpo Spain and to use this wonderful opportunity to present all the new products and the surprises for the upcoming season.

The Spanish vaping market:

After a period of recession in 2014, due to tougher legislation on e-cigarettes imposed by the Government, which saw many vaping shops closing up, the Spanish vaping market went through a season of progressive growth that brought it back to sustainable levels. In 2021, the Spanish market for e-cigs generated revenues for about 185 million euros, and accredited studies estimate an annual rate of growth of 2.9% until 2026. 

Although the number of vape shops is limited compared to other countries, the majority of sales are made offline. In Spain there are about 475.000 vapers, demographically divided as follows: the most consistent age group is composed by people between 35 and 45 years, while the one of people between 18 and 24 years is growing more rapidly. Of all vapers, 65% are men. It’s significant to underline how Spanish customers prefer refillable e-cigs over disposable ones.
